Together, Sowing the Future
At Bokk Boolo, we organize solidarity camps in Senegal for people of all ages.
who want to live a volunteering, learning and intercultural coexistence experience. Our solidarity camps are much more than a trip: they are an opportunity to live together, learn and contribute your grain of sand.
During the camp, you will participate in educational activities, workshops, games and community projects together with the local population.
Your age or experience doesn't matter, only your desire to share and let yourself be surprised.
You will take home indelible memories, new friendships and the certainty that your participation adds up.
Activities and Volunteering
What will you do during the camp?
Every day is different, and although we carry a plan, you must be prepared to change it if circumstances require it. But we always have a PLAN B!
Leisure time shared with the team to discover the local culture, excursions and living together with the community.
Participation in community projects such as gardens, libraries, restoration of classrooms and spaces, or cultural activities.
Support in educational workshops and recreational activities with children, young people and women.

The organization takes care of the booking, looking for group rates and managing in advance.
It is mandatory to travel with individual insurance. We can recommend partner insurance companies if you don't have a private one.
The malaria vaccine is mandatory according to the Ministry of Health; it is recommended to consult the International Vaccination Center.
We take care of all transfers: from Europe, local (accommodation to projects) and weekend excursions.

Profile
No specific knowledge is required; we look for an empathetic, flexible, respectful, sociable and collaborative attitude. The camp is an introduction to international volunteering and a cultural exchange. Recommended age: from 12 years old. Intergenerational experience: we combine young people with families and other adult profiles, seeking homogeneous groups. Small groups (minimum 10, maximum 15 participants) for a non-massified experience.
